Vegan choc balls

Vegan choc balls

Its all the rage; Bliss Balls. And I totally get why. The dates keep your colon and bowel clean (meaning they make you poo!), coconut oil keeps you full and supplies your body with good fats, cashews (more good fats), almond meal (gluten free yay) and if your dairy intolerant like me well then this is a good way to get your sweet chocolate fix. Recipe below:

 

INGREDIENTS:

425 grams dates

3 tablespoons coconut Oil

2 tablespoon almond meal

150 grams cashews

2 tablespoons cacao

2 tablespoons shredded coconut (plus extra for rolling in)

 

METHOD:

Mix all ingredients into a food process until it forms a dough ball. Form into balls with your hands and roll in shredded coconut and/or cacao. It really is that easy!
